- PERFECTSOUND IS NOW DOING REFURBS AGAIN -

PerfectSound is pleased to announce that we are NOW taking orders for refurbs/repairs of all Rockman equipment again!   Yippee!

Due to an overwhelming response to our doors being open for service again, we wanted you all to know that we do have a waiting list of faithful clients who have been waiting for quite a long time. Please know that we are diligently working as fast as we can to fill your requests, but please be patient a little longer while we diligently work at providing PerfectSound to our valued customers on the waiting list first.

In addition to all of the modules we will be refurbing every month, as a special favor to our fellow Rockman gearheads, we will be randomly picking one extra name from the waiting list per month so that the one lucky individual chosen will be able to get their Rockmodule refurbed sooner. So don't give up hope if you aren't even on the waiting list YET!  :)

If you would like to be added to our waiting list for refurb/repair please send your request to:

Thanks to so many of you for your patience and support as we go through getting up to speed again. One last thing to mention is that our love for the Rockman gear and it's people still remains as a serious and intense hobby for us. To that end it must be noted that we all at PSRR have day time jobs, that pay our bills, along with families and lives outside of this wonderful Rockman arena of people. So please don't be offended if we can't reply to your specific emails or questions within a 2 or 3 day time frame. We are doing our best but sometimes life gets really messy as I am sure we all have experienced at one time or another.  :)

In the meantime please enjoy the wealth of information contained in reading the articles page or just browsing around our Rockman fun filled pages... ;)

The PerfectSound Refurb/Repair Philosophy

PSRR specializes in the refurbishing of Rockman Rockmodules, SR&D gear and vintage Rockman gear. Using Rockman equipment ourselves, we know what a good Rockman Rockmodule, XPR or X100 Headphone Amp should sound like... and when a unit needs some TLC. This could be anything from a good cleaning, to correcting a shielding problem, to replacing noisy caps or other discreet components.

Our refurbs includes all of the Rockmodules made under the SR&D name, including the Model 100 and 200 Sustainor, Smart Gate, Instrument Equalizer, Stereo Chorus, Stereo Chorus/Delay, Stereo Echo, Midi Octopus, Distortion Generator, Guitar Compressor, XPR, X100 Headphone Amp as well as all the other rare vintage Rockman gear, like the Rockman Super Head, X-12, XP212, A12-50, PGE2, Pro Bass etc.

Think your Rockmodules or vintage Rockman gear sounds "OKAY"?  Read some of our testimonials then think again, and then let us help you obtain your PerfectSound!

At PerfectSound, we do our best to make each and every Rockman Rockmodule sound as good (if not better) than when they originally came out of the factory. As this takes time, patience, and knowledge (three very rare commodities in todays world), PerfectSound does not discuss trade secrets or provide repair consultation to outside individuals. Therefore, we ask our customers not to ask how we get our modules to sound as great as they do. As in any service, we pride ourselves in performing something much better than the usual run of the mill repair shop. Remember we scrutinize your whole unit, not just repair what seems to be the current problem, then we make sure it lives up to it's hertiage... that wonderfully awesome ROCKMAN sound.

Simply put, respect our work and enjoy YOUR PerfectSound!

Best Regards, David Accomando

PerfectSound XPR, XP100, XP212 and Super Head Refurbs

Price for XP- series units is $300.00 due to their complexity. Shipping costs vary due to the different XP series and their weight. An XPR is about $40.00. An XP100, XP212 and Super Head is about $70.00. PLEASE DO NOT USE UPS TO SHIP YOUR PRIZED ROCKMAN GEAR. We have had terrible results when shipping heavy items by UPS.
